The Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Basil SAEED, honored Dr. Najla Al-Samak from the Family and Community Medicine Department and fifth-year student Abeer Al-Hamdani for their collaborative research publication in a first-quartile Scopus-indexed journal.
Their study, titled:
“Assessment of Factors Influencing Suicidal Thoughts and Attempts Among Population in Mosul”
was published in the International Journal of Social Psychiatry, one of the leading scientific journals.
This achievement marks a significant step in the field of research at the College of Medicine, highlighting faculty and students’ dedication to producing high-quality scientific work.
