Effective Contribution of Some Female Academic Staff of the College of Medicine to the Success of Symposium of Northern Technical University on Breast Cancer

Under the patronage and presence of the President of Northern Technical University, the university held its educational symposium on breast cancer prevention and treatment, on Sunday, October 31st 2021. The symposium included one scientific session of three lectures held by three female academic staff from the College of Medicine, University of Mosul. The rapporteur of the Department of Medicine, Assistant Prof Dr Alia’ A. Najm gave her lecture entitled “Facts about Breast Cancer”, followed by a female lecturer from the Department of Medical Physiology, the Lecturer Dr Ragaa A. Younis with her lecture entiteld “Breast Cancer and Self-Examination”. Then a female lecturer from the Department of Obstetrics the Lecturer Dr Asmaa A. Al-Sanjari delivered her lecture entitled “Fertility and pregnancy with breast cancer.”

The symposium was held in conjunction with the awareness season for the aforementioned disease. The participation in it confirms the pioneering role played by the University of Mosul and the College of Medicine through attention and interaction with people, their affairs and requirements in order to devote all scientific, practical, and cognitive efforts to serve the human and society in general.
