College of Medicine

In the presence of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil Mohammednather Saeed, and the Scientific Vice-Dean, Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim, the Department of Operations and Emergency Medical Services in Nineveh Health held the first training course entitled “Emergency Medicine Courses”, for the period 9th-16th January 2022.

The course included giving knowledge information from the best doctors of Mosul University and the Nineveh Health Department to help the doctors to carry out their duties entrusted to them at the beginning of their working life to the fullest. Two professors from the College of Medicine, the Department of Surgery were delivered their lectures by Lecturer Dr Muhannad A. Al-Nuaimi and Lecturer Dr Muddathir A. Muhammad. Note that the target group are doctors who have recently graduated from the colleges of medicine of Universities of Mosul and Nineveh.

The course was held in the student centre under the patronage and presence of the Director General of Nineveh Health, Dr Falah H. Al-Taee and a number of specialized doctors in the department.
