Asst. Prof. Dr. Afraa Mohammed Al-Ameen chaired a session during the 36th scientific seminar organized by the Nursing College’s Basic Nursing Sciences Department, titled:
*”The Side Effects of Excessive Use of Dietary Supplements.”*
The seminar, held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, featured lectures discussing the effects of dietary supplements on children’s health, their efficacy for pregnant women and aging populations, and whether dietary supplements are a friend or foe. The event concluded with the presentation of recommendations and the distribution of certificates of appreciation to participating researchers.
