Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil Mohammednather Saeed, three female professors in different medical specializations gave awareness lectures to female students of university accomodation on Monday, 7th March 2022. The lectures were presented by the Assistant Prof Dr Omaima A. Ibrahim (Family and Community Medicine) and Assistant Prof Dr Maha A. Al-Sammak (Anatomy) and the Lecturer Dr Safiya A. Al-Chalabi (Medicine).

The topics covered included awareness- areas that concern women’s health, reproductive health, women’s empowerment, congenital malformations, mental health, and others. Then, at the end of the lectures, the students’ questions and inquiries were subjected and appropriate solutions were provided.
