A master’s thesis submitted by the student Samara S. Younis entitled “Mitochondrial Function of Metformin in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Case-Control Study” was discussed in the College of Pharmacy, University of Mosul on Tuesday, 8th March 2022.

The discussion committee was chaired by the Assistant Prof Dr Bassam E. Hanna, with the membership of a number of other teaching staff, including the coordinator of the Department of Pharmacology, Assistant Prof Dr Ibrahim M. Faisal.

After the discussion, the committee’s decision was read which included accepting the thesis after making amendments to it and awarding the student a master’s degree.
