In the discussion of a master’s thesis at the College of Nursing, University of Mosul, entitled: “The Effectiveness of an Educational Program to Empower Nurses on Sustainable Healthcare in Governmental Hospitals in Mosul.”

On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Humam Ghanem Ibrahim, participated in the discussion of a master’s thesis at the College of Nursing, University of Mosul, entitled: “The Effectiveness of an Educational Program to Empower Nurses on Sustainable Healthcare in Governmental Hospitals in Mosul.”
The discussion was attended by the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi.
The examination committee was composed of:

The thesis was supervised by Professor Dr. Radwan Hussein Ibrahim, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Nineveh.
The thesis, submitted by the student Ikram Ziyad Hamed, addressed important scientific themes focusing on the development and implementation of an educational program aimed at enhancing the competencies of nurses in Mosul’s governmental hospitals and promoting the principles of sustainable healthcare. This contributes to improving the quality of health services in public health institutions and supports the achievement of the third Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 3): ensuring good health and well-being for all, and the fourth goal (SDG 4): quality education.
