Institutional Accreditation Process at the College of Medicine

As part of ongoing efforts to achieve institutional accreditation for the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Talib Jawad Kazem, a member of the Institutional Accreditation Council, visited the College of Medicine on Monday, February 17, 2025.

Prof. Dr. Basil SAEED, Dean of the College of Medicine, along with Dr. Karam Turath Agha, the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, welcomed Dr. Talib Jawad Kazem, who continued for the second consecutive day reviewing accreditation files of the college.

The meeting was attended by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, the Head of the Quality Assurance Division, and the heads and members of the institutional accreditation standards committees.

Following the meeting, Dr. Talib Jawad Kazem toured the college’s departments and held discussions with students to ensure compliance with quality standards and assess readiness for institutional accreditation.
