A master’s thesis in medical physiology was successfully defended by student Dalal Iyad Abdul Qadir Jassim Al-Allaf, titled:
“Evaluation of Spirometry Changes in Women with Thyroid Disorders”
The discussion took place on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 9:00 AM in the Viva Hall of the College of Medicine.
The examination committee consisted of:

The study aimed to compare lung function between thyroid disorder patients and healthy individuals. The findings indicated that lung function is affected in patients with hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism, with restrictive lung diseases being more prevalent among hypothyroid patients.
