College of Medicine

On Sunday, October 6, 2024, a meeting was held in the discussion hall (Postgraduate Studies) for the editorial board of ACMM. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Basil SAEED, Dean of the College of Medicine and Editor-in-Chief of the journal, and attended by Assist. Prof. Dr. Humam Ghanim Ibrahim and Dr. Karam Turath, Managing Editor, along with other editorial board members.
The meeting began with a speech by Prof. Dr. Basil SAEED, who praised the efforts of the former Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Imad Abdul Jabbar Dhanoon, and the former Managing Editor, Prof. Dr. Khaled Naf’i Mustafa. Certificates of appreciation and shields were presented to them and the previous editorial board members, including:

After the recognition ceremony, topics related to updating the research acceptance mechanism were discussed, as well as the necessary steps to achieve the journal’s objectives and future vision. This includes improving the quality of published scientific research and increasing international cooperation to reach Scopus indexing.
