College of Medicine

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Kossay Kamaladdin Alahmady, President of the University of Mosul, and supervised by Prof. Dr. Basil Saeed , Dean of the College of Medicine, with the attendance of Assist. Prof. Dr. Humam Ghanim Ibrahim, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, the Pathology Department held its training course titled “Tissue Processing: Stages of Preparation and Sectioning.” The course took place in the pathology and postgraduate laboratories over three days from 29-31 October 2024. On the first day, lectures were given by:
• Dr. Khaled Wisam Abdul-Fattah
• Dr. Marwa Saleh Mohammed
• Dr. Mariam Fares Saleh
On the second day, practical lectures were delivered by:
• Dr. Zahraa Marwan Al-Omar, Head of the Pathology Department
• Dr. Maisa Abdullah Ahmed
• Mr. Elaf Abdul Wahab Hamdi
• Ms. Wafa Sabri Eid
The third day was dedicated to hands-on practice for the participants, targeting postgraduate students.
