Scientific Workshop on the Fundamentals of Legal Medical Awareness

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Humam Ghanem Ibrahim Zubair, Dean of the College of Medicine, the College of Medicine / University of Mosul, represented by the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-Up Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit and the Sustainable Development Unit at the Department of Studies and Planning / Presidency of the University of Mosul, organized a scientific workshop entitled:
“Fundamentals of Legal Medical Awareness.”

The lecture was delivered by Asst. Lecturer Karam Turath Tawfiq Agha, Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs.

The workshop aimed to promote safe and responsible medical practice to protect the lives of patients and the community, as well as to train and qualify students and graduates in essential legal skills. It further sought to advance peace, justice, and strong institutions by spreading awareness of the laws and regulations that ensure medical justice and legal responsibility within the University of Mosul.

The workshop was held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. in Qusay Al-Ahmadi Hall.
The participants included graduates and sixth-year medical students from the College of Medicine.
