The Dept. of Anatomy held its scientific annual symposium, within the program if continuous education, on 16th Nov. 2022 under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof Dr Qusay K. Al-Ahmadi, supervision and attendance by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil Mohammednathir Seaeed and his scientific and administrative vices- dean.The symposium entitled “ Modern View to Histology”. It consisted of two sessions. The first session was chaired by Prof Dr Abduljabbar Al-Hubayti and the second by Assistant Prof Dr Maysoon Muhyaldin.The academic staff of the department delivered various interesting modern lectures, such as “ the effect of smoking on the growth of placenta tissue”,” the effect of Insulin Resistance”, and other topics.Among the attendees were the heads of the departments of the college, academic staff , colleagues of the College of Nineveh, Nineveh Health Department, group of medical students.The symposium has come out with the importance of the electronic microscope in studying the changes of fine tissues and other scientific results.
