The College of Medicine at the University of Mosul participates in the First Nineveh Health Forum

The First Nineveh Health Forum was launched under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and the University of Mosul. The College of Medicine at the University of Mosul participated in this forum, which was held at Al-Muthanna Park for three days from September 1 to 3, 2025.

The forum witnessed active and prominent participation from professors, doctors, and students of the College of Medicine, who provided their services in examination, diagnosis, and treatment to hundreds of community members. This medical activity reflects the college’s mission in serving the community and embodies its commitment to the principles of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being.

The participation included providing free medical examination services, distributing health awareness brochures, and was attended by the Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Ahmad Abdullah, the Vice Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Karam Turath Tawfiq, and a group of faculty members, doctors, and students.

This forum is in line with the university’s leading role in serving the community and providing health services to the residents of the province. It reflects the college’s commitment to promoting public health and empowering individuals through education and healthcare.
