The College of Medicine Attends a Symposium Security Management in Nineveh Governorate Holds by the College of Administration and Economics

Under the patronage and presence of the President of University, of Mosul Prof Dr Qusay K. al-Ahmadi; in the presence of the Commander of Nineveh Operations Major General Numan A. Najm al-Zoba`ie, the Department of Business Administration of the College of Administration and Economics in cooperation with the Nineveh Operations Command, held its seminar entitled “Security Administration in Nineveh Governorate and Means of Development” on Tuesday, 31 December 2019. The symposium included five axes: security human resources management, strategic planning in the security areas, information technology in security areas, security management in times of crisis, marketing, and building security awareness for the citizen. The symposium was attended by a number of security leaders and a number of colleges` deans including the Dean of the College of Medicine Prof Dr Basil M. Natheer Saeed in addition to a number of researchers and interested persons from inside and outside the university. The symposium aimed to raise the level of the security management in the governorate of Nineveh, and to present mechanisms and models of administrative work in the management of security institutions while supporting creative ideas for researchers in the field of security management development. The symposium also aimed at presenting the adopted fields of knowledge and technology in the field of building security awareness for citizens, and highlighting the academic role of universities in general and the University of Mosul in particular in supporting all state institutions whether security or civil.
