College of Medicine

The Department of Public Health of Veterinary in cooperation with the Department of Internal and Preventive Medicine of the College of Veterinary Medicine held the scientific symposium entitled “Consumer health from animal health” on Tuesday, 7 January 2020 in the presence of the President of University of Mosul and the Vice- President for Scientific Affairs Prof Dr Munir S. Taha. The symposium was also attended by a number of deans of the colleges including the Dean of the College of Medicine Prof Dr Basil M. Natheer Saeed, and a number of university lecturers and the Chief of Veterinarians / Nineveh branch. The symposium was opened by the Official of the Information Division in the College of Medicine, Chief Engineer Hasan Y. Abdullah, who started with reciting verses from the Holy Qur’an, then followed by a speech of the Dean of Veterinary Medicine. After that, the opening lecture was delivered and the estimation shields were distributed. After a short break and opening the scientific exhibition, the scientific session which consisted of three lectures was restarted. Finally, some suggestions and recommendations were presented at the end of the symposium.
