College of Medicine

In the presence of the Administrative Deputy Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Prof Dr Hazim Kh. Al-Allaf, the Nineveh Health Department held the practical symposium titled: “GERD: Diagnosis and Treatment” on Friday, 15th October 2021. The symposium consisted of one scientific session that included two lectures for the medical department of the College of Medicine, University of Al Mosul. The first is for Lecturer Dr Abdullah Z. Al-Yuzbaki entitled “Case Scenario of GERD and Clinical Approach” and the second is for Lecturer Dr Muhammad H. Al-Saati entitled “GERD from Diagnosis to Management and the Role of Nexium in the Treatment”Then a opportunity was given to attendees to express questions, discussions and interpositions. Among the attendees were the director of Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital, the rapporteur of the medical department, some retired and current college teaching staff, and a number of specialized doctors in Nineveh Health Department. The symposium was held with the support of AstraZeneca Pharmaceutical Company.
