The Council of College of Medicine Approves Distribution the Outstanding Ten Selected Graduates of the Last Five Years
The Council of the College of Medicine approved the distribution of the outstanding ten selected graduates from 2016 to 2020. This occurred in the third meeting of the council on Sunday, 17th October 2021. The selection was made before, and the approval was according to the initial agreement between the Chairman of the Committee of Deans of Medical Colleges in Iraq and the Ministry of Health.
In the field of undergraduate studies, it was discussed with the heads of the departments the matter of lectures and practical and clinical training. The arrangement of time tables to serve students, teaching staff, and the entire learning process was also discussed in detail.
As for postgraduate studies, a master’s degree was awarded to three female pharmacists in pharmacology, and a fourth to a female doctor in clinical biochemistry. A number of discussion committees were also approved. Others issues and points were discussed in the session.
The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Dean (Secretary of the Council), Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim, and in the presence of the Administrative Deputy Dean, Assistant Prof Dr Hazim Kh. Al-Allaf, and other members of the council.
