The Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil Mohammednather Saeed, chaired a new meeting of the University Committee for Medical Research Ethics on Sunday, 16th January 2022.

At the meeting, it was emphasized that the committee’s work was reviewed, and a group of scientific research submitted by the medical group’s colleges was approved. The meeting also highlighted on the issues of academic freedom in health research and the ethics of publishing health research in order to achieve the desired benefit from conducting this or that research.

The meeting was attended by the Dean of the College of Nursing, Prof Dr Salwa H. Ghaylan, the committee’s rapporteur as well as the other members.
