College of Medicine

The Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil M. Nathir Saeed, chaired a meeting of the University’s Psychiatric Courses Committee on Wednesday, 26th May 2021.

The curriculum of the courses was reviewed in the meeting, and the most important observations were written down for submitting recommendations regarding them to the University Presidency for approval and approval. After that, it will be discussed with the French side (the financier of the project) in order to start implementing it optimally. The project is a joint project between the Universities of Mosul and Nineveh (on the one hand) and the University of Lorraine in France (on the other hand). It seeks to intern medical trainees (specializing in psychiatry) and nurse practitioners in this field.

The meeting was attended by members of the committee who are teaching staff from the various faculties of the university. A lecturer Dr. Jinan Saeed Al-Rahho, from the College of Medicine, University of Nineveh, was also hosted.
