The Dean of the College of Medicine presents a lecture on medical waste to postgraduate students
Assistant Professor Dr. Humam Ghanim Ibraahim, Dean of the College of Medicine, presented a lecture on medical waste to postgraduate students at the University of Mosul who have completed their preparatory year. This lecture is part of the chemical safety course and aims to introduce students to the importance of proper handling of medical waste and its impact on public health and the environment.
This lecture contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically:
– Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being
– Goal 4: Quality Education
– Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
– Goal 13: Climate Action
A number of postgraduate students from various colleges participated in this lecture. This lecture contributes to raising awareness among students about the importance of proper handling of medical waste and helps to enhance the knowledge and skills necessary for safe and effective management of medical waste.
