In the presence of the Head of the Department of Medicine, Prof DrKhalid Al-Kheroo, the department held the tenth student seminar for the sixth phase of the academic year 2020-2021 on Thursday, January 7th 2021. The seminar entitled “Cardiomyopathy” was presented by students: Muhammad Mohsen, Iman Jawad, Zainab Al-Hawra Ali, Sherine Khalil, Hiba Najm, and Sufyan Khalaf, and under the supervision of the Assistant Prof Dr Arwa M. Al-Sarraf. After the presentation, there was room for questions and comments on what was submitted by the attendees. Among the attendees was rapporteur lecturer Dr Wael Th. Younis and the general teaching staff of the department, in addition to the group of medicine. The seminar aims to educate students about a set of causes of heart disease, ways of detection and diagnosis, and the latest developments in treatment.
