The Department of Medicine Witnesses the Presentation of Two Seminars, the Assessment Exam for Board Students, and the Clinical Exam for Students of the Fourth Stage
The Department of Medicine witnessed extensive and intensive scientific activities during the last week of May and the beginning of June 2021.
On Wednesday, 28th May2021, the forty-third student seminar entitled “Drugs Alcohol and Other Substance Addiction” was held by students Muhammad Akram, Muhammad Fadel, Hala Saad, Arkan Khalaf, Asma Nizar and Aya Bashar, and under the supervision of the Lecturer Dr Safia I. Chalabi. After that, the forty-fourth student seminar entitled “Selected Pericardial and Endocardial Diseases, was held by students Hassan Fateh, Banan Qusay, Zainab Zaid, Sarah Ziyad, Abbas Jassim and Ali Qusay, and under the supervision of the Lecturer Dr Muhammad Abdul Hadi Ayoub.
On Wednesday, 2nd June 2021, the periodic assessment exam for Iraqi and Arab board students was held by the department and the committee supervising the study of the Iraqi board and in coordination with the committee supervising the study of the Arab board for the Mosul Teaching Centre / Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital. The examination proceedings were conducted in the Continuing Education Hall of the aforementioned hospital.
On Wednesday and Thursday, 2-3 June 2021, the clinical examination for students of the fourth stage (the second group) witnessed the clinical examination. The exam took place in the same hospital.
These various scientific events were took place under the supervision and attendance of the Head of the Department, Prof Dr Khalid N. Mustafa, and with the Rapporteur of the Department, Lecturer Dr Wael Th. Younis, and in the presence of all the concerned teaching staff.
