The Director of the Division of Missions and Cultural Relations Participates in a Scientific Symposium on Women and Society
The Director of the Division of the Missions and Cultural Relations, Assistant Prof Dr Omaima A. Ibrahim, participated in a scientific symposium held by the College of Arts, University of Mosul, on women and society on Thursday, 25th November 2021. She gave her lecture entitled “Prohibition of Some Violence Scenes against Women.”
The symposium discussed four main issues such as the social, the psychological, the administrative, and the legal issue.
It aimed to address the problem of violence against women in society, which is one of the social problems with various dimensions to women, the family and society in general.
The symposium was held under the patronage of the President of University of Mosul and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts coinciding with the International Day of Elimination the Violence against Women.
