On Thursday, 7th November 2019, the College of Medicine at University of Duhok discussed the doctoral thesis of the student Erdwan F. Ali entitled “Vitamin D Deficiency and DNA Damage in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus: A quasi Experimental Study” The committee included Prof Dr Samim A. al-Dabbagh (Chief), Head of the Physiology Department Prof Dr Bebeen Kh. al- Slevany (Member), assist. Prof Dr Samir B. al-Mukhtar (Member), assist. Prof Dr Masaud A. Abdulrahman (Member), assist. Prof Dr Adil A. Isa (Member), assist. Prof Dr Diya` J. Salih (Supervisor). After the discussion, the committee awarded the student the doctorate degree in clinical biochemistry.
