The Scientific Vice-President of University of Mosul Attends Starting the New Academic Year 2021-2022 for the College of Medicine

The new academic year 2021-2022 started in the College of Medicine on Tuesday 12th October 2021. Students of the second, third, fourth and fifth grades began in their classrooms according to the schedule of lectures that was prepared and announced earlier. The Scientific Vice-President of the university, Prof Dr Munir S. Taha accompanied by the Scientific and Administrative Vice- Deans, the Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim, the Assistant Prof Dr Hazim Kh. Al-Allaf and the Directors of the Registration and Media Divisions visited a number of classrooms. The Presidency of the University and the Deanship of the College congratulate the students on the occasion of starting the new academic year and their return to study seats, stressing at the same time the need to adhere to safety and health prevention measures due to the continuing corona pandemic. For its part, the Registration Division stipulated that the students have to present vaccination cards or bring a negative result for the PCR examination and pay the first instalment (for parallel students only) as part of the requirements to proceed. While we are waiting for the announcement of the results of the central and ministerial admission to register the new students and enrol them in the first stage similar to their peers from the above-mentioned stages. While the sixth stage students had already started their new academic year and joining their clinical training since 5th September 2021.
