College of Medicine

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Humam Ghanem Ibrahim, the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division at the College of Medicine, in cooperation with the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance and the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, organized a training workshop on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, entitled:
“A Detailed Explanation of the Mechanism for Writing and Preparing the Self-Evaluation Report for the Laboratories of the University of Mosul According to the Iraqi Standards for Laboratory Quality.”

The workshop lectures were delivered by:

• Prof. Dr. Noha Saleem Mohammed Ali – Director of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance

• Asst. Lect. Mohammed Sameer Mohammed Taha – Head of the Accreditation Division

• Asst. Lect. Haneen Ali Hussein Mohammed – Head of the Laboratories Unit

The workshop aimed to enhance the capabilities of laboratory staff in preparing accurate and comprehensive self-evaluation reports in line with national quality standards. It also sought to promote a culture of proper academic documentation and develop effective mechanisms for internal monitoring and evaluation, thereby contributing to the improvement of laboratory performance quality.

The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Humam Ghanem Ibrahim, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Lecturer Dr. Ahmed Abdullah, as well as laboratory supervisors, heads of units, and a number of college staff members.

At the conclusion of the workshop, the Dean presented letters of appreciation to the lecturers in recognition of their scientific efforts and valuable contributions to the success and objectives of the workshop.

Workshop of the Quality Assurance Division / College of Medicine – University of Mosul

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Humam Ghanem Ibrahim, the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division at the College of Medicine / University of Mosul organized a workshop on Monday, September 13, 2025, entitled:
“Regulations for Evaluation Files for the Academic Year 2024–2025.”

The workshop was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Ahmed, along with liaison members and several faculty members and staff from various branches, divisions, and units of the college.

The workshop included three lectures:

1. Lecture One: Regulations of Evaluation Files – Asst. Prof. Dr. Noha Hajim Mohammed

2. Lecture Two: Presentation of the Latest Modifications to the Evaluation Forms – Asst. Prof. Dr. Kulthoom Hameed Ramadan

3. Lecture Three: How to Calculate the Questionnaire – Lecturer Roqaya Zaidan Shaban

The workshop aimed to clarify the regulations of evaluation files for the academic year 2024–2025, explain the sections of Form 35 related to medical faculty members, the latest updates to the administrative faculty form No. 10, and the staff form, as well as the mechanism for calculating the student feedback questionnaire on instructors.
This effort aligns with Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) of the Sustainable Development Goals.
