College of Medicine at the University of Mosul Hosts Workshop on “With Determination, We Shape the Future: A Success Story”
Under the auspices of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Humam Ghanim Ibraahim, the Women’s Affairs Committee in the College of Medicine, in collaboration with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the University of Mosul, organized a workshop titled “With Determination, We Shape the Future: A Success Story” on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the Postgraduate Hall. The workshop targeted female students and staff members of the college.

Objectives of the Workshop:
– Motivate attendees to strive towards achieving their goals.
– Draw lessons and insights from the story.
– Enhance self-confidence and faith in abilities.
– Encourage goal-setting and striving to achieve them.
– Highlight the importance of hard work and overcoming failure.

The workshop was held in cooperation with the Studies and Planning Department – Sustainable Development Unit,

The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Safia Adeeb Al-Jalabi at 10:00 AM. The objectives of the workshop align with the Third National Action Plan for Women, Peace, and Security and the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically:

– Goal 4: Quality Education
– Goal 5: Gender Equality
– Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
– Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities
– Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals
