A master’s thesis defense was held at the College of Nursing, University of Mosul, on the morning of Wednesday, August 26, 2026, for master’s student Iman Tamouz Mahmoud Saleh Al-Badrani, on her thesis entitled:

“Enhancing Nurses’ Knowledge Through an Educational Program Based on Meleis’ Transition Theory for First-Time Mothers.”

The study aimed to enhance nurses’ knowledge through the implementation of an educational program based on Meleis’ Transition Theory, contributing to the improvement of nursing care provided to first-time mothers and strengthening the role of nurses in supporting them during the transition to motherhood.

The discussion committee consisted of:

Following an extensive academic discussion of the thesis, including its objectives, methodology, and findings, the thesis was accepted, and the student fulfilled the requirements for obtaining a Master’s Degree in Nursing.
