The College of Pharmacy holds a scientific symposium on summer Pharmacy training for students
<span;>Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, the Assistant Prof. Zina Abdel-Moneim Abdel-Majeed, the College of Pharmacy has established on Tuesday 9/2/2021 Its scientific symposium entitled “Summer pharmacy training for students of the College of Pharmacy in the context of the challenges facing the career” in cooperation with the representative of the Pharmacists Syndicate, Nineveh Branch.
<span;>The symposium dealt with the importance of summer training in pharmacies and how to improve it in a way that guarantees students’ acquisition of pharmaceutical information and practical experience that helps them enter professional life. The symposium opened with recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a speech of the Dean of the College and the President of the Pharmacists Syndicate in Nineveh, and speeches by the pharmaceutical companies sponsoring the event.
<span;>This was followed by the opening of the scientific sessions that dealt with a field view of the reality of summer training and some of the challenges that affect its quality. Next was a scientific lecture on the importance of choosing a pharmacy in the training process, as well as a lecture on creative thinking in the field of pharmaceutical work.
<span;>The symposium hosted two exhibitions for pharmaceutical products by Aversy and Sanofi drugs and pharmaceuticals. The event witnessed the attendance of the University President, the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, the Deans of Faculties at the University of Mosul, and members of the University of Mosul professors and associates, also a large number of pharmacists from the city of Mosul.
