### College of Pharmacy Holds a Seminar to Discuss Proposed Master’s Research Projects for 2025-2024

As part of the scientific activities at the College of Pharmacy and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Zina Abdul-Munim Abdul-Majeed, Dean of the College, the Clinical Pharmacy Department held a seminar on Sunday, October 13, 2024, to discuss the proposed master’s research projects for the academic year 2025-2024. The seminar took place in the seminar hall, attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhannad Imad Al-Qazzaz, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Adool, Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Department, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Omar Qutaiba Al-Layla, Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Al-Noor University College, along with several faculty members and researchers.

The session included two presentations of proposed research projects. Student Aya Saad Saeed presented her research project titled “Impact of GLP-1 Agonist on Obese Patients’ Wellbeing”, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Adool. Another presentation was given by student Amina Hani for her research project titled “Pharmacovigilance and ADR Reporting System in Ninevah: Knowledge Evaluation and Intervention Program”, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Harith Khalid Al-Qazzaz and Asst. Prof. Dr. Omar Qutaiba Al-Layla.

The seminar discussed the objectives of these research projects and explored how to utilize knowledge and modern techniques to achieve those objectives. Opinions were exchanged, and feedback was provided to enhance student performance and address potential challenges, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
