Large Digital Display Installed to Promote Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
The College of Pharmacy Enhances Campus Awareness of Global Sustainability Initiatives
Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Yasser Fakhry Mustafa, the college has installed a large-scale digital display within its halls. The screen is dedicated to showcasing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in a clear and prominent manner.
This initiative is a core part of the college’s mission to instill the principles of sustainability among its students and staff. It aligns with the University of Mosul’s broader strategy to support global initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable development, ultimately contributing to a conscious academic environment that is socially and globally responsible.
This step directly supports several key pillars of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, specifically:
* Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being – By preparing a pharmaceutical workforce capable of advancing the healthcare sector.
* Goal 4: Quality Education – By providing a modern and sophisticated educational environment that integrates global awareness.
* Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals – By collaborating with the university and relevant institutions to solidify sustainability principles.
Through this action, the College of Pharmacy reaffirms its leading role in supporting and implementing the SDGs, continuing its dedicated efforts toward building a better and more sustainable future.
