College of Pharmacy Welcomes Al-Fao Secondary School for Girls in a Scientific Outreach Visit Supporting SDGs

On Thursday morning, December 4, 2025, the College of Pharmacy at the University of Mosul received a student delegation from Al-Fao Secondary School for Girls, accompanied by their teaching staff. The visit is part of the college’s scientific outreach program, designed to bridge the gap between secondary education and academic institutions.
The students toured the college’s specialized laboratories and scientific departments. Faculty members provided simplified insights into the curriculum and highlighted the vital importance of practical training in both healthcare and scientific research. Furthermore, the visitors were introduced to the modern pedagogical methods used to qualify students for their future professional careers.
This initiative directly supports several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
