On Monday, 14 April 2025, the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul held a conference to discuss the graduation research of fourth-year students for the academic year 2024–2025  . During the conference, six research papers were discussed, addressing topics such as poverty in Iraq, the role of political parties in shaping policies, parliamentary investigation committees, strategies to counter extremism, and Arab and international stances on the events in Gaza.
