Under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the University of Wasit held its fourth international intellectual and cultural conference on combating intellectual terrorism and promoting societal peace in Iraq, on Tuesday, 8 April 2025. The conference aimed to shed light on the dangers of intellectual terrorism, explore means of eliminating it, foster productive intellectual communication between universities and other governmental and civil institutions, reject extremist discourse, and promote the principles of peaceful coexistence among the various segments of Iraqi society.
