On Monday, June 21, 2021, Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Neamat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Mosul, met with the President and members of the recently reconstituted Academic Promotions Committee, and welcomed at the outset of the meeting the attendees

The price of the great role that was achieved in the efforts of the Scientific Promotions Committee’s work in the previous period and in light of the exceptional circumstances arising from the outbreak of the Corona virus, as there was communication of the promotions movement in our college and the various scientific titles, and the directives of the President of the University Council, Professor Dr. Concerning the subject of emphasizing the importance of auditing the transactions of academic promotions and ensuring that they meet the legal requirements before sending them to the Central Committee in order to ensure speed of completion

The Deanship of the College and the College Council are supportive of the work of the Promotions Committee, and that there are direct directives to the scientific branches on the importance of facilitating the procedures and ensuring the smoothness of the promotion procedures, with the greatest accuracy in completing their requirements and in accordance with the controls and instructions in force

Academic promotions are of great importance in the field of higher education, as they are a reflection of the reality of the development and progress of the scientific and research level of the teaching staff, in addition to its results related to the production of scientific energies and competencies that contribute to the process of scientific giving and academic creativity in colleges and universities

At the end of the meeting, the Dean of the College wished success to the attendees in their new assignments
