This day also expresses the will of the individual and groups in their quest to escape from places of conflict and persecution towards safer and more stable places. This day also mobilizes feelings towards sympathy with the refugee towards his quest to build a life or rebuild, but doing this is not limited to individual or limited efforts by the refugee or a small group, but rather the political will must combine with the resources and possibilities available to provide a decent life, and the celebration returns The first on this day goes back to 2001 on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the 1951 Convention relating to the Status of Refugees, and that day was initially called Pew The African refugee was then considered by the United Nations General Assembly as International Refugee Day in December 2000, where the United Nations called on this day under the slogan (Together we recover, learn and shine) to the need to support refugees around the world and provide them with protection in addition to the adoption of health systems The UNHCR also acknowledged that it seeks to expand the refugee’s capacity by accessing primary and secondary health care, in addition to enabling their children to access quality education to build a better life
