The Refugee Studies Academy honors a faculty member at the College of Law.

The Refugee Studies Academy honored Dr. Saja Omar Shaaban, a faculty member in the Private Law Department at the College of Law at the University of Mosul, by awarding her a letter of thanks and appreciation for her outstanding efforts in supervising and effectively following up on the postgraduate diploma research entitled “The Legal Status in Palestine During Wartime and the Extent to which It Is Influenced by the Foreign Policies of Western Governments,” prepared by researcher Qudsi Samir Ghababen from the same academy. This honor stems from the importance of the research, which sheds light on the legal framework of the Palestinian cause in light of armed conflicts and analyzes the impact of Western countries’ foreign policies on this framework. This contributes to enriching academic debate on international issues with a humanitarian and legal dimension.
This initiative represents part of the College of Law’s academic and research plans aimed at strengthening cooperation with local, regional, and international academic institutions, opening new horizons for knowledge exchange and supporting efforts to build bridges of communication between the university and the global academic community.
