Master’s Thesis Defense at the College of Law on the Evolutionary Interpretation Approach

The College of Law witnessed, on Sunday, March 29, 2026, the defense of the master’s thesis submitted by the student Wissam Salem Ahmed Abboush Al-Badrani, entitled:
“The Evolutionary Interpretation Approach in Light of the Rules of the Constitutional Bloc”
The thesis aimed to demonstrate how to adopt the evolutionary interpretation approach to constitutional texts within the framework of the rules of the constitutional bloc, which contributes to aligning the constitution with political and social developments, and enhances the protection of rights and freedoms.
The study addressed the concept of evolutionary interpretation and its legal basis, as well as clarifying the nature of the constitutional bloc and its components, while explaining the nature of the relationship between them, and the role of the constitutional judiciary in applying this approach in a manner that keeps pace with changes and ensures the effectiveness of constitutional texts.
