Master’s Thesis Discussion on the Effectiveness of the United Nations Fund in Enhancing Humanitarian Response

On Thursday, May 21, 2026, a master’s thesis discussion was held at the College of Law for the thesis submitted by student Mustafa Ali Ahmed Akleh Al-Saleh, titled: “The Effectiveness of the Office of the United Nations Multi-Partner Trust Fund in Enhancing Humanitarian Response,” under the supervision of Professor Dr. Mohammed Younis Yahya Al-Sayegh.

The thesis addressed multi-partner humanitarian financing and the institutional framework of the Office of the United Nations Multi-Partner Trust Fund, highlighting its impact on fragile humanitarian environments, particularly in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and South Sudan, as well as the institutional and coordination challenges affecting the effectiveness of humanitarian response.
