As part of its scientific activities aimed at promoting a culture of academic integrity and sound scholarly research, the College of Law – University of Mosul organized a scientific workshop with the participation of a number of faculty members and postgraduate students.

The workshop addressed the concept of scientific honesty as the fundamental cornerstone upon which rigorous academic research is built, and clarified that plagiarism constitutes an infringement on intellectual property rights and a breach of the ethical values governing the research process. It also highlighted the importance of accurate documentation of sources and adherence to approved academic standards in citation and referencing, in order to ensure the protection of the rights of researchers and creators.
