Dean of the College of Law Meets with Postgraduate Students for the Academic Year 2026/2027

The Dean of the College of Law at the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Abdulaziz Ramadan Ali, accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and the heads of the scientific branches at the College, met with the postgraduate students for the academic year 2026/2027 in a welcoming meeting held as part of the College Deanship’s commitment to enhancing direct communication with its students, preparing them for the new academic year, and introducing them to the most prominent academic, research, and administrative requirements.
At the outset of the meeting, the Dean welcomed the postgraduate students, wishing them an academic year filled with success and excellence. He emphasized the importance of adhering to university instructions and regulations, and of making the most of the scientific and cognitive capabilities provided by the College and the University, in order to elevate their academic level and enhance their research and academic skills.
The meeting included a review of a set of instructions from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Presidency of the University of Mosul concerning postgraduate students, with emphasis on the importance of keeping pace with digital transformation in the educational and academic process, and on students’ commitment to communication and follow-up mechanisms through the approved electronic platforms.
The mechanism for joining and using a number of electronic platforms was also explained, including the Google Classroom (Classlink) platform and the Eduba platform, highlighting their importance in following up on instructions, announcements, activities, and academic requirements specific to postgraduate students.
On the research side, the meeting included clarification of the regulations and procedures related to the publication of scientific research for master’s students, as well as a review of the requirements for scientific research and academic publishing for doctoral students, in line with the approved instructions and regulations, and in a manner that contributes to elevating the quality of the students’ scientific and research output.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the College Deanship and the heads of the scientific branches affirmed their commitment to providing support and academic guidance to postgraduate students, and to preparing a suitable scientific and research environment that helps them complete the requirements of their studies and research, wishing them a successful academic year filled with giving and scientific achievements.
