On Sunday 7/2/2021, the Private Law Branch held an electronic international workshop on the Google Meet app

The workshop began with playing the national anthem of the Republic of Iraq, then Dr. WissamNemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, the respected dean of the faculty, gave his speech, which at the beginning welcomed the esteemed Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, the respected President of the University of Mosul, the members of the University Council, our faculty members, the participants in the workshop, and the honorable attendance of researchers, academics and interested in legal affairs, indicating The importance of the topic of the workshop, which deals with a recent and emerging topic that requires setting legal rules that regulate its provisions and address the problems arising from it

The workshop works were launched with a research paper by Dr. Mustafa NateqSaleh / Faculty of Law, University of Mosul, tagged (The obligations of the trader in light of the electronic environment / the commercial register as a model) in which he addressed the importance of electronic technologies in commercial operations, referring to the commercial register, which is an integrated electronic system that shows the business It is practiced by the merchant, which is organized by the chambers of commerce and industry, referring to the applications of some countries, then Dr. Nada Zuhair Al-Fil / College of Law of the University of Sharjah presented a research paper entitled (Unsolicited Electronic Merchant and Supply) in which she talked about electronic shopping that has become widespread at the present time and the extent of The likelihood that what was purchased would come in contravention of the required specifications in addition to the occurrence of many shoppers in the trap of fraud and fraud, then Dr. Malak Arab Dakour / Faculty of Law of the Lebanese University presented her research paper tagged (What is the conflict between electronic addresses and trademarks) in which she explained the manifestations of conflict and the principles that govern it Then Dr. ShaimaFawzi Ahmed from the Faculty of Law at the University of Mosul presented her research paper entitled (How to become a T. Electronic fees) in which I touched upon the ownership of many companies’ electronic stores that hold their goods, indicating the contracting processes that are made with the buyer, referring to the national and international legislation that regulates these purchase contracts, and then Dr.RawaYunus Al-Najjar presented her research paper tagged (The Electronic Merchant Agent) which showed In it, the mechanism for forming the electronic platform from which the shopping is made, referring to the website from which the shopping is made, explaining the mechanism that is adopted to obtain the electronic merchant license

The honorable attendees asked many questions and inquiries about the topic of the workshop, which were answered in detail by researchers

The workshop resulted in several recommendations that were submitted to the concerned authorities

The topic of this workshop comes within the series of scientific, cultural and student activities of our college, which dealt with a recent and emerging topic, especially since the commercial work is characterized by speed in addition to the presence of modern products from time to time, which requires that the requirements of commercial work are fast and unconventional

From this standpoint, the Private Law Branch sought to establish this workshop, which dealt with the provisions, rules and developments related to merchant and electronic commerce
