Based on the directives of Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal al-Din al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, regarding openness and community interaction, and based on the plans and directives of the Deanship of the College of Law, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim al-Saadi and the members of the College Council, to communicate and open up the community and work to educate the community about its protected rights and obligations, the International Days Committee has striven to In the branch of human rights law, we focus on shedding light on international days related to the life of the individual and society, and among these days is International Law Day, which falls on September 13 of each year, as the law represents an imperative necessity in regulating individual and societal relations with the aim of achieving the ultimate goal of justice. The law is an imperative necessity in Defining the legal centers in their various forms and working to organize them is a public speech addressed to all, approved by the legislator and creating penalties in the event of violation. In addition, the law is divided into:
Public law, which represents the legal rules that regulate the relationship between the state itself or between it and individuals as it has sovereignty and authority.
Private law: which represents the legal rules that regulate the relationship between individuals or between individuals and the state without it having sovereignty and authority.
Each section of the law has specializations that regulate specific relationships in light of laws and legislation that regulate a relationship based on the section to which it belongs. Laws regulate internal relations within the scope of the state and also regulate the external relations of the state in addition to relations in which there is a foreign element. The law represents comprehensive and integrated rules that regulate relations on the basis of Its different types, shapes, ends, methods of origination, and means of cessation.
On International Law Day, the Deanship of the College of Law at the University of Mosul extends a greeting of respect and appreciation to workers, scholars and researchers in the field of legal sciences,,,
