On Thursday, October 26, 2023, Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College of Law at the University of Mosul, and Assistant Professor Dr. Luqman Othman Ahmed, one of the teachers in the Human Rights Law Branch at the College of Law, participated in the scientific symposium held by the Student Activities Department at the University of Mosul, which addressed the resulting damages. On drug use and circulation among young people, where drugs and their negative effects on the behaviors of individuals who use this deadly and destructive substance and the effects it generates that contribute to the disintegration of society were discussed. It was also discussed about its prohibition from the religious side and prohibition of its consumption or circulation from the legal side and emphasis was placed on Explaining its harmful effects on the human body, which most of the time leads to addiction and death for individuals who use it.
