Dr. Qabas Hassan Awad, one of the teaching staff of the Public Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul, participated in the proceedings of the international scientific conference entitled Rule of Law and Artificial Intelligence / Challenges and Aspirations, which was held by the Jordanian Zaytoun University for the period 21-22 November 2023. The participation was represented by a speech dedicated to the main speaker in the conference. It addressed the legal and ethical limits of regulating artificial intelligence by addressing the purposes of legislation, legal restrictions, and ethics of artificial intelligence, while addressing specific legal experiences of countries investing in artificial intelligence. At the conclusion of the conference, Dr. Qabas Hassan Awad was honored with a shield handed to her by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Ensour, former Prime Minister of Jordan and Chairman of the Council of Ministers. The conference witnessed Arab and international participation, as well as meetings with professors and legal scholars in Iraq and the Arab world.
