International Human Rights Day falls on December 10 of each year, which is the day on which the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948 in Paris, pursuant to General Assembly Resolution 217, which directly defines the protection of human rights globally. The Universal Declaration also included: About the preamble (30) articles that have formed a legal, historical, and political importance in the history of the contemporary world by referring to rights and their types, whether civil or political rights or economic and social rights, which were developed by people from various different legal cultures in the world to determine a legal framework for protection as well as the legal framework. National and the Universal Declaration constitutes a common standard to protect all of humanity from any actions that may target their freedom, regardless of color, sex, religion, nationality, language, social origin, or political opinion, while setting standards of protection for all people equally before the law, as they have equal rights to enjoy To the protection of the law without discrimination, and they have equal right to enjoy protection from any discrimination that violates this Declaration and from any incitement to such discrimination.
Although the Declaration is not legally binding, it has become a common source for all constitutions and laws and enjoys customary force. The United Nations has drawn up the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the International Covenant on Economic and Social Rights of 1966 to confirm, frame and culminate what is included in the Universal Declaration, as the two international covenants are instruments. Binding international treaties that dealt in detail with the rights and their nature, as well as treaty mechanisms to implement what was included in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights of 1966.
