A scientific workshop on the importance of the Arabic language in legal sciences,,,
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal al-Din al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision and presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim al-Saadi, Dean of the College of Law at the University of Mosul, and the members of the College Council, and on the occasion of the anniversary of the International Arabic Language Day, the legal clinic was held in our college on Thursday, December 21, 2023, in cooperation with The Continuing Education Unit conducted its scientific workshop entitled The Importance of the Arabic Language in Legal Sciences, which began with a speech by the Dean of the College, who welcomed the attendees and distinguished guests at its beginning, expressing his happiness in holding this activity that deals with our beautiful language, which is the language of the Holy Qur’an and the language of poetry and literature,,,
A language that produced civilizations and developed sciences.
A language that is considered international as a living language according to international resolutions.
A language that sparkles with creativity and beauty.
A language that will remain until the Day of Judgment,,,
It occupies great importance in the field of legal studies, as its linguistic structure and classical formulation represent the basis for issuing laws and legislation that regulate public life in all its aspects. It is also considered a foundation in judicial work and its governmental institutions. The workshop also witnessed the presentation of a number of research papers, where Dr. Hajar Salem Al-Ahmad presented a research paper that demonstrated It contains ideas that touched on the vocal component that is formed in the human self from birth and the connection between that and the human interior.
The mother tongue arouses feelings of nostalgia and increases attachment to the civilization to which the individual belongs, as it is an act that accumulates over the years, and this is what we have witnessed in the stories of our writers and writers.

Dr. Talal Abdul Hussein also presented a research paper in which he demonstrated that the Islamic message is characterized by universality, sent by the Innocent God Almighty in the Arabic language and in the Holy Qur’an, which the Most Merciful has ensured its preservation, with reference to the letters of the Arabic language, their consistency, and their use in the style of human pronunciation according to a systematic sequence,,,
Based on the above, proper linguistic formulation using correct grammatical rules has a pivotal role in the field of legal studies and positive legislation, which represents the legislator’s will to achieve the ultimate goal of stabilizing society and preserving the safety of its members in its broad sense, so it was necessary for him/the legislator to use clear language that is understood by everyone. The workshop witnessed a distinguished presence of researchers, academics, and those interested in legal and societal affairs, who asked many questions and inquiries about the topic of the workshop, which were answered in detail by those in charge of it. The Deanship of the College also presented certificates of appreciation to the management of the workshop and its researchers in appreciation and recognition of their distinguished efforts in establishing this activity, which It comes within a series of scientific, research, academic and student activities of our college during the current academic year 2023-2024.
