Within the framework of the Scientific and Literary Forum at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Ziyad Abdel-Wahab Abdullah, one of the teachers in the Human Rights Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul, participated on Sunday, February 25, 2024, in the work of the workshop entitled (Moral Pollution and Administrative and Financial Corruption), which was held by the Research Center. Environment. Participation was represented by the research paper titled (International Mechanisms to Combat Financial and Administrative Corruption), in which he addressed the United Nations Convention against Corruption of 2003, the position of the Iraqi legislator on it, the role of the Integrity Commission in combating corruption, as well as the role of Iraqi laws in force and concerned with achieving transparency and combating the scourge of corruption. This comes Participating within the plans and programs of the Deanship of the College of Law at the University of Mosul, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College, and the members of the College Council, in communicating and interacting with the colleges of the University of Mosul and its research centers, and working on community awareness and spreading legal culture among the various groups and segments of society.
