Master’s thesis in the public law branch on administrative licensing within the scope of selling and marketing medicines/comparative study,,,
On Monday, June 3, 2024, the Public Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis on administrative licensing in the scope of selling and marketing medicines/a comparative study, part of which was attended by Professor Dr. Munir Salem Taha, Assistant President of the University of Mosul for Scientific Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi. Dean of the College of Law and a number of College Council members and faculty.
The thesis submitted by researcher Jinan Anas Ibrahim Al-Jawari in the public law branch dealt with the administrative license, which is considered a means of administrative control and is an administrative decision issued by the competent public authority aiming to restrict the freedoms of individuals in order to achieve public order within society.
The message aims to explain that the legal nature of the administrative license is that it is a necessary preventive measure that must be consistent with the nature of the administrative decision. The general rule in imposing the administrative license system is subject to three basic standards, which are the personal standard and the objective standard, in addition to the legislator’s discretionary power.
The discussion committee was headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Ahmed, the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Talal Younis, the lecturer Dr. Rana Essam Ayed, and the membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Reda.
